PRIMITIVE CABINS - Individual
The Primitive Cabins at Tortuga Inn are the ultimate destination for those wanting to get-off the grid (wi-fi not available) and reconnect with nature. Cabins do not have water or electricity, however there is an outside flushing toilet and outdoor sink available 100 feet or so from the cabins. The Primitive Cabins are for seasonal use only. Heating and cooling is not available. Plan accordingly and prepare for the weather and temperatures before arrival.

Each one room cabin with loft is equipped with only the bare essentials. Patrons must bring their own linens, including pillows, for the full size bed and mattress. The loft can be utilized as another sleeping area but guests are reminded to bring sleeping bags if planning to use this space. Cabins have a small covered front porch with seating facing the Tippecanoe River. Guests will want to bring along lanterns or flashlights. A firepit area is provided with firewood. Plan to grill out on the charcoal grill and gather around the pic-nic table for dinner. Some suggested items you might want to consider bringing with you to Tortuga Inn’s Primitive Cabins are; food, cooking and eating utensils, sleeping bags, sheets, blankets, pillows, personal toiletries, hand sanitizers, body wipes, water jug, ice chest & ice, charcoal, lighter fluid, and matches, folding lawn chairs, trash bags, flashlights, lanterns & extra batteries, bucket, suntan lotion, bug repellent, Each cabin is tucked away off the driveway of the Inn. Please note other guests and accommodations are in somewhat of close proximity. Please respect quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am Guests are responsible for placing all trash in the dumpster, keeping dogs on leash at all times, and sweeping out the cabin prior to leaving.

PLEASE BE AWARE THERE ARE OTHER GUESTS IN AREA. WE DO REQUEST RESPECTING QUIET TIMES FROM 10PM TILL 7AM...BUT SOME GUESTS DO NOT RESPECT IT. WE ARE SORRY BUT YOU DO HAVE NEIGHBORS 100 FT AWAY.

*PLEASE PLACE ALL TRASH IN BLUE DUMPSTER BY BARN WHEN CHECKING-OUT WHICH INCLUDES ALL GLASS, PLASTIC, CANS, AND FOOD LEFTOVERS
*SWEEP CABIN FLOOR BEFORE CHECKING OUT.
*ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH OUTSIDE OF CABIN. NO DOGS CAN BE LEFT IN CABIN UNATTENDED UNLESS CRATED.
*NO GUESTS CAN SLEEP IN A TENT OR IN A VEHICLE ON THE CABIN SITE UNLESS HOST HAS BEEN NOTIFIED AND PRE-ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE.
*PLEASE RESPECT OTHERS GUESTS. QUIET TIME IS 1000PM THRU 8 AM.
