Winamac Area Attractions
Saturday mornings visit Winamac’s Farmers Market at the courthouse square. Open from spring to late summer. Then take a walk downtown Winamac. Enjoy the architecture of the historic Vurpillat's Opera House and take in Graffiti Alley for photo opportunities.
Schedule a river float with the local canoe, kayak and tube livery and float the afternoon away.
Plan a day at the nearby paintball theme park.
Choose from one of the fun fourteen themed maps.
Bring along bicycles to take on the Panhandle Pathway, a 22-mile rail-trail corridor running through Pulaski and Cass Counties, Indiana. Cross over the Tippecanoe River Bridge and the smaller Mill Creek Bridge and stop to have a scenic snack or packed lunch.
Check out the stables just 30 minutes south of Winamac and go horseback riding.
View one of Indiana's greatest wildlife spectacles at Jasper-Pulaski Fish and Wildlife Area. Each fall, from October through December, thousands of Sandhill Cranes visit the area's shallow marshes. It’s a sight to behold!
Check out the close-by Tippecanoe State Park. Hike any of the 8 trails and make your way to the firetower. The spectacular views are worth the climb!
Just an hour’s drive away Indiana Dunes National Park awaits! This park hugs 15 miles of the southern shore of Lake Michigan and has much to offer.
